​Directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane), this film radically shifts the setting from modern military operations to the vast, wild territory of the Comanche Nation in 1719. It introduces Naru (Amber Midthunder), a young woman who dreams of being a hunter and a warrior, a role traditionally denied to her within the tribe, despite her superior tracking and survival skills.

​While honing her skills, Naru notices strange, disturbing signs in the forest: unusual tracks, mysteriously skinned animals, and sudden violence that surpasses the threat of ordinary beasts like bears or wolves. She realizes that the danger threatening her people is an apex predator far more formidable than anything they have ever encountered: a highly-evolved, invisible Feral Predator (Dane DiLiegro) armed with an arsenal of advanced alien weaponry.

​Underestimated by her own tribe and later by ruthless French fur trappers, Naru turns these assumptions into her greatest advantage. She must use her deep knowledge of the land, her cunning, and her determination to fight a creature that hunts for sport and sees her as nothing more than prey. The film is celebrated for its visceral action, tense atmosphere, and the authentic portrayal of Comanche life and language.
