She realizes that the danger threatening her people is an apex predator far more formidable than anything they have ever encountered: a highly-evolved, invisible Feral Predator (Dane DiLiegro) armed with an arsenal of advanced alien weaponry.

​Underestimated by her own tribe and later by ruthless French fur trappers, Naru turns these assumptions into her greatest advantage. She must use her deep knowledge of the land, her cunning, and her determination to fight a creature that hunts for sport and sees her as nothing more than prey.
