​The film introduces us to Pil, a scrappy and clever young orphan who lives by her wits (and with the help of her three loyal weasels) in the medieval town of Roc-en-Brume. Her life of stealing food from the castle takes a wild turn when she witnesses the evil Regent Tristain cast a wicked spell on Prince Roland, the true heir, transforming him into a creature unlike any other: a “chickat” (half chicken, half cat!). To escape the guards, Pil disguises herself as a princess. Now, stuck in a royal role, she embarks on a madcap quest with an unlikely team—the bumbling castle guard Graubart and the goofy jester Jiggler—to find the antidote and save the prince. Their adventure takes them across the kingdom, teaching Pil that true courage and nobility are not matters of blood, but of heart.
