The film follows Siddharth (Maahir Mohiuddin), a man pushed to the absolute edge. Burdened by crushing debt and threatened by moneylenders, he agrees to a desperate deal: a drive to the remote forest area of Pushpagiri to offer his home as collateral for a loan. However, the drive becomes a journey into his own fractured psyche. Through fragmented flashbacks and tense phone calls with his estranged parents and his pregnant partner Susmita (Chaithra J Achar), we see a man who has traded human connection for obsessive success.
As night falls, the forest road becomes a claustrophobic trap. A wrong turn and a sudden accident leave Siddharth isolated and haunted by strange, anonymous calls that seem to know his every secret. Director Likith Kumar uses the title Vritta (The Circle) to symbolize the loop of helplessness Siddharth is trapped in—a cycle of fear that won’t leave until he confronts his past. With haunting cinematography and an evocative score, the film delivers a powerful message: that personal ambition should never come at the cost of those we love.
