​The film is set on a peaceful island in China inhabited by Mandarin ducks, led by the wise Emperor Peng. Their calm lives are thrown into chaos when a flock of military mallards, led by the ambitious General Duckmus, mistakenly lands on their island, thinking it’s Hawaii. As tensions rise between the two groups, the Emperor’s adventurous son, Longway, and the General’s free-spirited daughter, Erica, become friends. Their newfound friendship is put to the ultimate test when a wicked human villain, Ms. Knout, attempts to capture Longway, who is revealed to be the legendary “Sun Duck” with the power to protect the sun. The two young ducks must convince their feuding families to work together to save their world.
