Following recent heartbreaks, best friends Pearl (Adrianna So), who uses “sexcapades” to cope, and Achilles (Kych Minemoto), who vents online, embark on a much-needed vacation. Pearl decides to play matchmaker, setting up Achilles with the handsome and wealthy Ali (Alex Diaz). The plan seems perfect, and Achilles and Ali immediately hit it off. However, the fun and games quickly turn chaotic when Pearl realizes she is also developing deep feelings for Ali.
What ensues is a complicated and often hilarious love triangle, forcing the best friends to confront their true feelings about each other, the limits of their friendship, and what they truly value in love and life. Directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, Pa Thirsty is a vibrant story about modern love, heartache, and the complexities of finding “the one”—even if your best friend is also looking at the same person!
