The movie introduces us to Kumar (Kiran Abbavaram), a quintessential spoiled rich kid who believes that money can buy anything—including happiness. His father, Krishna (Sai Kumar), finally has enough of his son’s reckless behavior and sends him to a college in the serene backwaters of Kerala, hoping the change of scenery will force him to grow up.
It is in this new environment that Kumar encounters Mercy Joy (Yukti Thareja). Unlike the women he has known before, Mercy is quiet, distant, and carrying the weight of a traumatic past. The film shifts gears from a lighthearted college rom-com into a touching drama as:
