The story centers on Yuta Okkotsu (voiced by Megumi Ogata), a boy who carries a heavy burden. Six years ago, his childhood friend Rika died in a tragic accident, but her spirit never left him. Instead, she became a “Special Grade Vengeful Cursed Spirit,” a monstrous entity that brutally attacks anyone who threatens Yuta. Isolated and suicidal due to the bloodshed he cannot control, Yuta is eventually saved from execution by Satoru Gojo (Yuichi Nakamura), who offers him a place at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
As a first-year student, Yuta trains with Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda to become a sorcerer and find a way to break Rika’s curse. However, peace is short-lived as the extremist sorcerer Suguru Geto (Takahiro Sakurai) declares war on the non-sorcerer world. Geto plans to carry out the “Night Parade of a Hundred Demons” on December 24th, aiming to seize Rika’s immense power for his own twisted vision. The film climaxes in an epic battle that tests Yuta’s resolve and forces him to confront the true nature of the bond he shares with Rika.
