The film follows Shiva (Sudheer Babu), a man of science who leads a double life. By day, he is a corporate worker; by night, he is a ghost hunter who uses technology and logic to debunk paranormal claims, believing that fear is the only true ghost. However, his skepticism is put to the ultimate test when he falls for Sitara (Divya Khossla), a god-fearing archaeologist, and begins having terrifying visions of an infant under attack.
The mystery deepens as Shiva discovers his own birth was a result of an ancient sacrifice. His path leads him to the legend of the “Dhana Pisachini”—a wealth-guarding demoness played by a menacing Sonakshi Sinha. Bound by a centuries-old blood ritual to protect hidden treasures, she is unleashed when modern greed disturbs the sacred seals. Shiva must transition from a skeptic to a spiritual warrior to prevent the world from being consumed by the “Demon of Greed.” Jatadhara is a visually stunning saga that explores the fine line between human will and cosmic fate.
