​The story centers on Issa (Rica Gonzales), a young woman suffering from selective amnesia after a mysterious accident. She wakes up in a secluded home, only to be told by Tristan (Ali Asistio)—her childhood best friend—that they are husband and wife. Every day, Issa’s memory resets, and every day, Tristan patiently uses a photo album to “re-teach” her about their five-year marriage and the dangerous stalker they are supposedly hiding from.

​However, as Issa navigates her fragmented world, cracks begin to appear in Tristan’s perfect narrative. The presence of Mela (Sahara Bernales), a former close friend who is now missing, haunts the edges of Issa’s consciousness. Despite Tristan’s comforting words and protective nature, Issa’s gut tells her that she is being kept in a gilded cage rather than a sanctuary. The title Hibang (meaning “delirious” or “insane”) perfectly captures the fever-dream atmosphere as Issa fights to reclaim her sanity and discover the truth about the “accident” that wiped her memory.
