​Biyak (“Split”) tells the story of two half-sisters, Violet (Angelica Cervantes) and Samantha (Quinn Carrillo), who grew up in vastly different worlds. Violet was given up for adoption and raised in wealth, but endured constant sexual abuse from her adoptive father. Seeking an escape from her misery, she finally searches for her biological family.

​Her search leads her to reconnect with her biological mother and to meet her half-sister, Samantha, a tough girl from the slums and a former drug courier now working as a police asset for Officer Erwin (Albie Casiño).

​Despite their drastically different upbringings, the two sisters discover a painful common ground: both their lives have been tragically shaped by drugs, crime, and sexual abuse. With the help of Violet’s loyal boyfriend, William (Vance Larena), the sisters find solace and a new fight in each other.
