​Alapaap (meaning “Cloud Nine”) follows a group of college friends who embark on a trip to a secluded town to shoot a short film. Their filmmaking mission quickly takes a detour when they are introduced to a new, highly addictive substance. The drug promises a euphoric, dream-like state—a trip to their personal “Alapaap.”

​However, their chemically induced high rapidly turns into a shared nightmare. As their inhibitions vanish and the drug takes hold, the friends’ true natures and dark secrets begin to surface. What started as an artistic retreat turns into a terrifying spiral of paranoia, deceit, and violence, forcing them to confront not only the sinister consequences of the drug but also the hidden darkness within themselves.
