The film tells the story of Delfina (Natacha Méndez), a beautiful 45-year-old woman who appears to have a perfect life: a devoted husband, a teenage daughter, and solid financial security. However, her life takes a dark and unexpected turn when she is introduced to Kamil (Rodolfo Ávalos).

Kamil is portrayed as a mysterious, older businessman, possibly of Arab origin, who operates in the high world of finance and, more importantly, is a master manipulator. Delfina falls into a passionate, secret affair with him.

The relationship quickly devolves into a toxic, obsessive dynamic. Using psychological tactics and sophisticated charm, Kamil ruthlessly and subtly manages to lead Delfina down a path of inexplicable emotional and physical deterioration. The film is a departure for director José Celestino Campusano, who typically focuses on more marginalized characters, but here he deftly uses the upper-middle-class setting to expose the vulnerabilities that exist across all social strata when dealing with emotional vampirism and a profound crisis of identity.
